Life

Yes, i was in a bus yesterday, Friday 2nd November when, at Onipanu, by AP Filling Station, right in front of the Police Station (Post), an old man, who walked without any aid, simply slumped to the ground, hitting his head, face down on the tarred road.
A man made to help, actually tried to pull him up, but it felt like trying to pry a rock from its base with a fork. People began to gather, but what got to me, what gutted me was the action (or appropriately, the inaction) of the policemen, who were within 4 feet of the helpless man. The two policemen withdrew back into the station gates like nothing happened.
As our bus sped away, I wondered, I prayed that the man does not die...Tears welled in my eyes cos I could not help, and those in the best position simply folded their hands and did nothing. It was Martin Luther who said: "in the end, it is not the action of our enemies but the silence of our friends that will be remembered."
I have a lot more to brood on about this...

your first comment i guess, but i will always maintain the same as you and i have always talked about life itself.
First God himself is life,we exist form His Radiation and for us to be alive to me is simply as a sch where people from diff origins meet for good or bad reasons, though individually pass or fail, thereby graduating or repeating
it is a web

It's sad how the policemen retreated like nothing happened. It's sad when we don't stop to help, speaking of myself and none other. It's something that has to always be in our consciousness.
